1. How many children are there in the poem?

There are two children in the poem. We can understand this because one child says “You have a few crayons” and the other says “I have some too.”

2. Why did the children want to share the crayons?

The children wanted to share the crayons because each of them needed different colors – one needed the red crayon while the other needed the black crayon. By sharing, they could both use all the colors they needed.

3. How can the children in the poem have a full pack?

The children can have a full pack by sharing their crayons with each other. One child has red, yellow, and blue crayons, while the other has green, purple, and black crayons. When they combine their crayons, they get a complete set of six colors.

1. The children in the poem shared their crayons. Do you share anything with your friends? What do you share?

Yes, I share many things with my friends. I share my lunch during break time, my books when they forget theirs, my games during playtime, and my school supplies like erasers and sharpeners when they need them. Sharing makes our friendship stronger and helps us all.

2. You have only green, blue and red crayons. Talk in pairs what you would want to draw.

With green, blue, and red crayons, I would draw a beautiful garden scene. I would use:
